Time For A Change

Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. (Romans 12:2)

It's time for a change. I know that when I say that most people go. . . ugh, oh no, really? But as we enter 2024 we all want our New Year to be better, different, and to get accomplished all the things God has put in our hearts to accomplish. So here are some of the reasons why our New Year's resolutions fail.

Most people change only enough to get away from problems, not enough to fix them.

Most people do the same thing the same way, yet expect a different results.

Most people see change as a hurtful necessity instead if a helpful opportunity.

Most people won't pay the immediate price to change and end up paying the ultimate price for not changing

Most people change only when prompted by one of three things.

They hurt enough that they have to

They learn enough that they want to

They receive enough that they are able to change.

So how does real change happen?

New information is accepted

A new attitude is adopted

New behavior is practiced
