Have you ever wondered why it is so important to memorize scripture?  It's not that you have to memorize the whole Bible, but the more of God's Word that gets down into your spirit the stronger you are against the enemy. It keeps you out of sin because you know God's ways of doing things.  For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.   ( Hebrews 4:12)
