Every February 14th men are buying flowers and candy to express to their wives, moms, daughters, and girlfriends how much they love them.   For a man to take the time to get you a card, flowers or anything else really touches the hearts of women.  It's not even about the gift as much as it is about that special someone taking time out of their day to do something for us.  We girls love that stuff! Well, at least I do!

That is what Jesus did on the cross for all of us. While He walked this earth he taught about how to love.  Today, take a moment and take the love test.  This is our measuring stick for how well we are loving others.

Love is large and incredibly patient.

Love is gentle and consistently kind to all.

It refuses to be jealous when blessing comes to someone else.

Love does not brag about one's achievements nor inflate its own importance.

Love does not traffic in shame and disrespect, nor selfishly seek its own honor.

Love is not easily irritated or quick to take offense.

Love joyfully celebrates honesty and finds no delight in what is wrong.

Love is a safe place of shelter, for it never stops believing the best for others.

Love never takes failure as defeat, for it never gives up
