Jesus as prepared a table for you and me in the presence of our enemies. Let that sink in for just a minute. When the pressure of life are all around us, OUR almighty God has invited you He's invited me to sit and dine.  The dinner party belongs to us and God alone.  

Whenever we allow the Devil to sit, he begins to devour the abundant life meant for you and I, and we start heading down the pathway toward sin and death.  We live on a battlefield. We're stamped with the image of God and targeted by the enemy. The enemy hates God and wants to destroy everything he can that bears God's image. So if we are created in His (God's) image that means us. 

Despite the enemy's intent, don't be fearful. Remember, "greater is He who is in you that he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4)

We have the VICTORY in Christ. Because Jesus has already WON the VICTORY over sin. 

When I was younger I remember my older pastor who at that time was probably in his 80's loved this song...Oh, victory in Jesus, my Savior forever
He sought me and bought me with His redeeming blood He loved me 'ere I knew Him and all my love is due Him He plunged me to victory beneath the cleansing flood.

So be encouraged today THE BATTLE is WON because of who walks with us through the dark valleys and who SITS AT THE TABLE with us when we're surrounded by troubles. Lock eyes with the one who Paid the price and INVITED you to the TABLE!!!! WE HAVE THE VICTORY!!!
