As I write this devotional, I am very overcome with thankfulness! As many of you know this is my first Thanksgiving without Ed. I am sure he is enjoying Jesus and the Glory of Heaven. As much as I miss him and as hard as these months have been, I am so very thankful that God has carried me through each and every day.
Psalm 7:17 But I will give all my thanks to you, Lord, for you make everything right in the end.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. Psalm 100:4-5
Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever. Psalm 107:1
..always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 5:0
The above scriptures have carried me and ministered to me as I have walked this new road.
I want to encourage you, that no matter what you have walked through this year, God is with you, He is carrying you, and He is working out all things for your good.
When the peace of Christ rules in our hearts, thankfulness overflows. Even in the darkest of times, we can praise God for his love, his sovereignty, and his promise to be near us when we call.
